Random...

Time has just flown by the last two weeks. I took two weeks off to spend time with my kids before they left for another 3 week visit with thier dad. This worked out well since I am also nursing my broken foot. Of course two weeks off doesnt actaully mean two weeks of no work. I have still been editing pictures and answering emails and phone calls. I just took two weeks off from sessions. I am going to start slowly doing sessions again. I dont want to push my foot too fast. In my down time I decided to put together this slideshow for the K family.




Oh, and cool news! I get a day off!! I am heading to Lousianna Saturday for a day girl-trip to the casinos. I am sooooo excited. Not really about the gambling(althogh that is sooo fun), but about a day of no kids and no hubby! I havent had a day of no kids in about 3 years. Except for a trip a year ago, but I spent the whole thing bed ridden EXTREMELY sick. I know not all of you will understand my excitement, but I just had to share.

Website down!!

BOTH of my main websites are down. There was a explosion/fire at our server location(The Planet). It is located in Houston and has over 90,000 servers on it and all are currently out. It is one if the worlds larget servers. It happened yesterday around 6pm and it has been madness ever since. I cant even check my eamil. Okay, this girl knows how to work the camera! Just about every click of the camera turned into a BEAUTIFUL portrait. I just let her do her thing and did my best to capture "her". Her poor mom though. She doesnt know how she will ever choose which ones to order.

Little Princess

Oh my! I realized that I never featured this little beauty on my blog. This little princess is the daughter of a good friend of mine. So be prepared to watch her grow. I am sure you will see plenty of her in the next year and years to come. She has caused me to have dreams of having another one, trying for another girl. But in the end I decide against it. Afterall, it could be another boy!!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer over the weekend. She needed headshots for an upcoming audition/tryout. This was something a little different for me. It was weird to only photograph from the neck up! Hopefully I can get her back soon to do a "real" session. She is such a beautiful young woman, and a pleasure to photograph! GOOD LUCK JENNIFER!!!!
