Stress Fracture

I have been limping around for over two weeks now because of a hurt foot. I finally went to the Dr. Thurday(becasue my hubby made me) and it turns out I have a stress fracture. WHAT??? I couldnt believe it. So now I am hobbeling with a giant boot up to my knee on my left foot. I go in for a MRI Monday to find out how bad it is and how long I will be sporting this facy footwear. I am still booking sessions, I may be a little slow is all.

The K family

I had a session with the K family last week and we are following up this weekend with a "mini" session. We had to cut the first one short due to circumstances beyond our control. Thats ok though, because now we are meeting at a park and it will be tons of fun! I am so excited and cant wait to see you guys again.

Model search!!!

Remember I told you about the new location I found? I said I would be looking for models soon.... Well, guess what??? Its time! I am looking for female models ages 12 and up and couples. I dont want to give out too many details now. All I will say is that if you dont want to get wet, this isnt for you. The models will receive a FREE session with no obligation to purchase prints(signed model release required). I will only accept a limited number of bookings for each age and type of shoot. PARTY!!!!

WOW! So sorry I have been MIA. I have been crazy busy. Which is good news, right? Its definately keeping me distracted while the older two kids are away. I promise to try my hardest to be better about my blogging!

Saturday night I had the pleasure of photographing a party(more like a reception). The bride and groom got married during the week and then had a beautiful party in Bentwater on Saturday at thier home. The bride's daughters organized most of the party(including hiring me) and I cant even explain what a amazing job they did. It was a beautiful night and it was a pleasure to be a part of it.

So sad...

My older two kids left today to go to thier dads for three weeks. I always hate this part of summer. I know when they are here, thay can drive me insane. That being said I would still rather have them here than not. The house feels so empty and quiet without them. I still have the youngest here with me, but its just not the same trying to have conversations with a 2 year old all day! LOL I am sure before long they will be home and I will be longing for the quiet days. But for now, they are already missed and I wish they were home.

Birth Slideshow

I had the pleasure of being there when Madeline Jewel was welcomed into this beautiful family. It was an amazing experience! Mom is a friend of mine(and fellow photographer) and I must say she did a beatiful job. They are such a great family and I wish them luck with their newest addition!

Website down!!

BOTH of my main websites are down. There was a explosion/fire at our server location(The Planet). It is located in Houston and has over 90,000 servers on it and all are currently out. It is one if the worlds larget servers. It happened yesterday around 6pm and it has been madness ever since. I cant even check my eamil.
